Hi
I have installed the software, created my parent account and added the child accounts. I have associated the child account with Windows accounts. I have logged in to the Windows accounts and surfed porn even though pornography should be blocked. When I right click on the program icon and tell it to show me the house rules it tells me that web sites belonging to the pornography category are blocked. This is all with my wireless connection at home that uses my ADSL connection. If I dial out on the Internet using my HSDPA modem the sites are blocked correctly. Then when I disconnect from the HSDPA connection and reconnect to the wireless network the web page is still blocked. What is going on here?

When you log into Web portal, do you see any logs for Web activity for the portion of time when you were using wireless connection? I.e. do you see any pornographic sites being visited? Do you see any strange logs, looking like "child visited 192.286.45.1"?
Do you have any other Norton products installed?

Hi
It doesn't seem to log anything when I am on wireless. It is like it does not pick up the traffic at all. I am using Firefox 3.0.9 and run Norton Internet Security 2009 and Norton Utilities. About 10 minutes ago I go a popup to say that house rules had been updated but I can still visit porn sites.

I've sent a request to our QA to see if we can replicate the environment...

Pkidza,
Could you give me the Name and model # of your wireless router? Also, are you using the default settings for the router or have you made changes to the configurations?

Hi
It worked perfectly with the modem. I tried it about a minute ago with the wireless connection (didn't work) and then I disconnected the wireless connection and connected using the HSDPA modem (worked perfectly). The page was blocked and I got an e-mail informing me that a blocked page had been visited.
