HELP, instant messaging activity

Instant messaging has not been monitored although I clicked on the monitor option. I just found out today that it hasn't been monitoring since I set it up last month.

How can I choose to monitor msn messenger using norton online family as I clicked on the "Monitored: Chat is allowed, but conversation logs of new IM friends can be viewed."

I also clicked on "Chat supervision ON"

Despite doing all that instant messaging history does not show up on the records neither does it monitor.

Help!!!!

Hi KingYuka,

What IM and version does the child use? Norton Online Family supports following Instant Messengers to monitor Instant Messaging activity for your child:

• Yahoo Messenger

• MSN Messenger

• Windows Live Messenger (The program doesn't support the 2011 Windows Live Messenger client currently)

• AIM (AOL Instant Messenger) - (Note: AIM 7.0 is currently not supported.)

• Google Talk

Note: Norton Online Family does not support Web browser based clients of Instant Messengers listed above. Currently, Norton Online Family supports Instant Messengers only on Windows. Instant Messengers on Mac are not supported.

Norton Online Family supports browser IE and Firefox. Google Chrome is supported but cannot track social networking.

Hi KatieQ,

We have Windows Live Messenger on our computer, so that one isn't supported? What if I delete that one and download msn messenger, would that be then supported by the norton online family?
