My child has been talking to someone online and refuses to tell me who (they deny it) so I am login their chat sessions but this person is using a cellphone I assume and my child is on AIM.

The chat session shows that they are talking but not what is being said, the chat log is blank when I try to look at it.

I have now blocked this person but I rather have it just log, is it a problem with how I set it up or doesnt this program registersince the other person is using a cellphone?

The program supports monitoring chat using AIM on a PC and a cell phone.   

Are all of the chat transcripts (I assume there have been more than one conversations) between your child and this person blank?

Aim 6.9.15.1

I am not sure if its the newest version but its quite recent

Please check to see if he is on AIM7.  We currently don't support AIM7.  Our development and QA team are working on the feature to support it.

I just checked again and its version 6.7

Does anyone have any suggestions for me?  Should I try getting an older version of AIM?
