Hi everyone,

today my son noticed me that NOF required a pc restart. I rebooted tha pc and NOF wasn't running: no icon in system tray, no ccsvchst.exe in task manager.

I rebooted the pc for the second time and now NOF is ok, version 2.3.0.17 but on "change account" and "Disable online security control" windows there is no text.

So I searched in pc and noticed that in NOF's folder (MUI folder) there are two folders: actual version folder with only "09" subfolder and previosus version folder with many subfolders.

I think that new version is missing of localized text subfolders.

I attach logs files from C:\ProgramData\NortonInstaller\Logs\

Hi Axios,

I understand you have three PCs(I get the information from another your post for different issue in the forum).  Are you experiencing the same issue for all of them?

What Operating System do you have for your PCs?  I remember one of them is Win7 32bit.  What about the other two?

I have two win 7 32bit pc and one with Vista sp1

The problem is on one of two with win7 32bit.

The other 2 pc are temporarily disconnected so have not yet received the update.

The problem was solved by another update with reboot on 20/02/2012.
