Hi everyone,

my son noticed me that NOF shows an error message: "Cannot update house rules. Try later"

I'm trying to access NOF site but I receive the "connection closed by server error"

What happened to NOF site?

currently we are experincing some difficulites with our NOF servers. we are working on the issue and will update this thread as more info becomes available.

And word yet on when the site will be back up? I rarely have to log on, but today I needed to change the logon times so my step-daughter can get online early in the morning and check for school closings before she drives to school since we might get snow.

Hi violet_renegade,

As a workaround, please create a new Windows account on the PC, and don't associate it with any profiles online(which you are not going to be do so currently).  The child should be able to use the PC with the new Windows account to check information online without any time restrictions (no other monitoring neither though).

We're also effected by this problem. Trying to extend the computer usage time for our daughter. Not working!!!

Well, the only problem with that is if I make an unrestricted account, she'll be up on it all night because the computer is in her room. Plus, it wouldn't be blocking anything. :-/

Same problem for me.  My son has his laptop and is away from home.  There is nothing I can do from here but wait for the issue to be fixed.  This should not be happening.

How much longer?
