Hi.  Signed up today for new non-premium account.  Registered, added Safety Minder to Mac laptop running 10.7 (downloaded correct version) and linked two user profiles to account.

Got message when logging into children's user account that monitoring was on, checked my computer that accounts were linked, monitoring and websites were blocked (ie., known, familiar adult sites).  No blocking was done, no activity was reported.  Restarted laptop, uninstalled and re-installed Safety Minder, re-checked links and added a few websites to blocked list - no impact on ability to access sites.

Any suggestions?  Very frustrating that not even basic settings are easily handled or troubleshooting.

Hi B_A,

I'm sorry that you were not able to monitor your kids' website visits.  I'd like to let you know the latest version of Norton Safety Minder for Mac 2.2.6f8 supports Firefox version 12.  Since Apple had changed the mechianism on dealing with the Safari browser, our mechanism was not supported on the Safari browser version 5.1.  At this moment I'd like to let you know we are working on alternative approaches to support browsers other than Firefox.

To help you better, can you please check if Norton Safety Minder extension is installed in the Firefox browser.  You can verify this by launching Firefox from your kid's login, clicking on Tools menu item, and Add ons, Extensions; make sure Norton Safety Minder for Firefox is installed and enabled.

Please do post if you find any difficulties.
