Was all working perfectly a few months ago. Got confident in the product and relied on notifications and stopped checking. Suddenly saw my daughter on a blocked site recently and then checked the other stats. Web activity is still being reported but no IM and no search activity being logged. Also she is able to access any site she wants. Problem exists in Firefox and IE. Re-checked all supervisor settings and all is as it should b.
Using Online Family version 1.1.0.21; IE version 6 and Firefox version 3.0.11

Hi tinca101,
Please click the NSM icon (a paw image) in the system tray and make sure Norton Safety Minder is enabled. I have seen cases where a kid has the administrative rights and is able to disable the program.
Thanks,
Katie

Hi Katie
Already checked that......verified enabled also by the fact it is recording web activity....but not IM, not search and not blocking sites.

Hi tinca101,
What kind of Anti-Virus or Security product has been installed on the PC that is being monitored?
Thanks,
Katie

Hi Katie
I am (was) using a corporate edition of your products. Symantec antivirus 10.1.5.5000 and Symantec Client Firewall 8.7.4.97.
I uninstalled these 2 products and re-installed Online Family and it is working again....but now I have no AV/FW installed. I have had this issue before with older versions of online family but it was resolved with a newer version....for some reason this version appears to be suffering the same problem.....Are you confident that online family is fully compatible with Norton360. If so I might just forget about the corporate edition and go for 360 instead. Even so.....online family should be compatible with corporate editions shouldn't it?
Cheers
Don
