I have installed Norton Safety Minder on the computers used by my kids. In their profiles, I have not chosen to block "gamin. g" sites. Nontheless, the site scratch.mit.edu as "gaming." I have also listed this site as one which my kids should be allowed to visit. And, I have uninstalled and re-installed the program and the problem persists. How do I enable my kids to visit t his website without completely getting rid of the parental control program?

I tested the website and it is categorized as Gaming and Entertainment & Music. I was able to access the website without any problems if it's on the allowed list.
After you add the website to the “Specific Web sites to allow” list, it might take a couple of minutes to get the changes updated. You can click on Norton Safety Minder icon in the system tray and select Update House Rules to make the change get affected immediately.
If you don’t agree how a website is categorized, please dispute it.
