Norton Family

Hello,

now I installed Norton Online Family.

On 3 computers have I no problem. But on one is generated Runtime error after starting every internet browser (IE, Chrome, Firefox, Opera). Also starting of every browser is very slow.

Exact message text is:

Runtime Error!

Windows XP SP3

Installed Norton products:

Norton Safety Minder 2.3.0.17, Norton Online Framework 2.3.0.7, Norton Online Datastore 2.3.0.7

I was referring to security product and version, like Norton 360 or Norton Internet Security, or any other security products in the market.

OK now understand.

I have Avast antivirus, Comodo Firewall, Spybot S&D with resident TeaTimer.

New information for you: When I open Mozilla Firefox every time is displayed Error message and in tray area is some time next (I mean second) Norton Safety Minder icon.

Other browsers causes error just randomly.

I will look on it. I'm searching other free antivirus software. Do you think Avira antivirus will be better in combination with Norton Safety Minder? No more error messages?

Hi Nastec,

Several users mentioned that they have Avira and the product is not compatible with it, but there are a couple of them have both work together fine.

If you want to make sure if Avast or Avira is compatible (or the reason causing the error or not), you can uninstall Avast or Avira first temporarily to see Norton Safety Minder (for Norton Online  Family ) works well or not.
