I have: Windows XP, IE, child is limited, version -couldn't find, I also have Norton Anti Virus

Here are the results I get for each:
* ping o2comm.norton.com = Request time out (x4). Packets: Sent = 4, Received = 0, Lost = 4
* telnet o2comm.norton.com 443 = Could not open connection to the host, on port 443: Connect failed
Now what?

That means that something is blocking your connection to our servers. You said you didn't have any firewalls installed but could the windows firewall be enabled? Are you connecting through the internet with a router? I was also asking around and found out that some antivirus software have caused problems with our safety minder. Are you running any antivirus software?
