On my Dell XPS i7 (with Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit) and on my HP Desktop Q6600 (with Windows 7 Pro 64 bit) after I install Norton Safety Minder all my browser freeze (Internet Explorer 8/9, Chrome, Firefox) - after 0 seconds to 3-4 minutes of browsing - it is random. The computer has to be reseted, because is dead.
If I uninstall the product, no problems at all - also I can see a slighty better speed of the browser.
I already re-installed the Windows on the desktop because initially I didn't figure what was the problem.
Now I'm sure 100% that your product is the problem and I need to use it for my two children. I read a lot of posts and it is funny that we as clients (even if it is free...but I also bought Norton 360...) have to find solutions and I wonder if people like my wife can fix what you tell us as clients. Me, I'm IT professional (+20 years) and I see in the last time a deep QA problem in all the latest products from the most company - maybe from the cut cost point of view (?).
On both computers I use Norton 360, the last version.
I also use an Atom computer with Windows XP 32 bit with Norton 360 and there is no problem with Norton Safety Minder.
Please fix the problem and give us a new version.

I understand you have Norton 360 installed on both PCs, but besides Norton 360, do you have any other security products
installed on the PCs? It sounds like a compatibility issue with other security products.
