Thanks for your patience.  For now, the workaround for the issue is to remain at Firefox 4.0 until the compatibility update is released.

We are currently working very hard on the issue and will release the update as soon as possible.

When a fix comes out for Firefox 4.1, I think an e-mail should be sent to us. That way we will know that it is safe to download the new firefox version....

The new update will be distributed via Automatic LiveUpdate from Norton Online Family.  You don't have to download it manually.

On July 13^th,  the Norton Online Family team released Norton Safety Minder version 2.2.0.26 which is compatible with Firefox 5.01 and 4.01.  The Automatic LiveUpdate will distribute the latest Norton Safety Minder update to you automatically.
