Re: Safari 5.1.4

I couldn't agree more with the comments in this forum. I have always been a supporter of Symantec (Windows), but having now seen the level of commitment given by Symantec to Windows vs. Mac, I am very disappointed and regret having invested in NIS 5. I honestly feel I wasted my money, and would not have bought this had I known the lag between Apple updates and Symantec trying to catch up (if at all).

Why launch a Mac offering if they can't even support the native browser. Why should we have to resort to Firefox (so tired of hearing the same line - have you seen our Firefox solution - honestly who cares, I don't want Firefox and that is that. I bought my Mac so that I can use Apple products).

And the standard party line of we are working very hard on a solution might cut it for a couple of months but this length of time is absurd (and quite frankly insulting to their Mac customers).

I think I will now look elsewhere.

Hi K_FromMaine,

We are currently working on the the update that will support Safari 5.1.  I'm sorry that I can't share a release date with you yet, but it's getting closer to have the update released.

Thanks,

Katie
