The Norton Safety Minder icon on the system tray is missing. I have it installed on teh computer & it is working good. But why does it not show on one of the 2 computers on which Safety Minder is installed???

Hi NightFury,

Have you received an alert saying the Norton Safety Minder has been disabled or uninstalled?

Please give non-administrative rights (limited or restricted) to your child’s  user account and keep the password for your Norton Online Family account away from the child.  Otherwise,  the child would have the ability to tamper the program.

Norton Safety Minder is not disabled or uninstalled. I still get the alerts on my product. i can see an icon on the desktop as well.

What Operating System is your PC running?  If you use Win7/Vista, NSM trayicon may have hidden in the customization task bar. Please make sure you set option to always show the NSM trayicon in the task bar.

If somehow the child kills the process, you may not be able to see the trayicon.  Can you please try to restart the PC and check if you can find the trayicon?

I have checked in the customize option as well, I don't find the icon. Its a Win7 Operating System.
