It still says its not compatible and the extension is disabled in firefox.

I uninstalled online family and reinstalled from the website, but it is still not compatible?  And it keeps telling me norton online family requires a restart, I've restarted 6 times and it still says it, what's up with that?

Where can I find out what the current version online family is? Except for in firefox I can't even find what version I'm running (btw its 2.3.0.20)

nevermind, after the 8th restart I have version 2.3.0.22

shouldn't this have downloaded right away form the website???

I am trying to install the latest NSM on my son's laptop (Lenova - Windows 7 Home Premium SP1). I have uninstalled NSM completely and trying to install the latest version (2.3.0.26), I goes up to AGREE & INSTALL (License) after that it comes with error stating that you have already new version of NSM .... I even checked in Registry, and found NO entries related to NSM... I also tried to uninstall Norton 360 6.x, but no success.. I tried more than 20 times (every time rebooting).... but no success!!

What is the latest version? How to uninstall an INVISIBLE NSM?

Could anyone please help on this?

Please reboot the PC after the previous version of Norton Safety Minder is uninstalled.
