Hi,

New to the product, I'm currently testing it on the Android (ICS 4.0) of my daughter

- History of web browsing is working very well !

- Blocking pages too :-) ! (including warning mails)

- Search tab stay empty, even if we "google" some pages : is it normal (the google page is logged in the web history)

- Usage of Android applications not : it is reserved to the "premium" version, isn't it ?

- Time usage and limit ..... not working ....

Is it a (current) limitation of Minder for Android ?

I have set time limit ranges : the Android is usable outside of the limits.

I have set a max usage of 1h / day : nothing happen, no warning mail sent, no warning / blocking messages on the screen.

Should I configure something else ?

But I don't understand : you point me to the Android app to configure (administrate) the "Familly security settings". I'm right ?

I'm searching how can I activate the time usage monitoring on my daughter device : see how much time she is on her device and block the device after 1 hour.

How can I do this ?

Hi RicD,

Thanks for the update.  From the description in the link I sent you, it shows for time limits, the program allows the parents to turn time monitoring on or off on the mobile,

Time Limits: Gives you the option of turning time monitoring on or off

The feature monitoring time usages for mobile is being developed currently.

That's the answer I was searching for : the feature will be available in future release.

(just to avoid me searching for hours without results).

Next question, and I know it is a tricky one : any idea about a planning ? It is a feature that I am (and probably most of us) really interested in ....

Thanks for the post.  I agree.  The question is a "tricky" one .   I'm sorry I can't provide a release date yet as the team is working on some new features and Android updates. 

When the feature is available, we will announce it on the Norton Online Family website.
