What happens to Safety Minder if Norton is disabled?

I'm assuming that if Norton is disabled, Safety Minder is disabled.  If so, how can I keep someone from disabling Norton to get around Safety Minder?

Re: What happens to Safety Minder if Norton is disabled?

Hi wombar,

First, I just want to make sure I didn't misunderstand.  I assume

When you say "Norton", you mean Norton antivirus product, like Norton 360 or Norton Internet Security.

When you say "Safety Minder", you mean Norton Safety Minder.

If my assumptions are correct, Norton Safety Minder is independent from other Norton products.  If Norton 360 or Norton Internet Security is disabled (or uninstalled), Norton Safety Minder still works fine.

Thanks,

Katie
