I've been using Norton Online Family for quite a while now and never had this problem, but just recently ccSvcHst started hanging when my kids try to log out of their Windows 7 accounts, which causes Windows to display error messages. It is really a problem to expect my kids to deal with this. And if they cancel out of log off, then the Norton Safety Minder is turned off, and they can use the Internet without any controls. There must be some sort of new incompatibility with either a Windows update, a Norton update, or both, because, as I said before, this just started happening recently. When my wife and I log off our accounts, which are not being monitored by NSM, there are no error messages ... it only happens on the kids' accounts. I think this is a very serious error which needs to be solved ASAP, or else the usefulness of NSM is serious diminished.
