For the last week safety minder has been popping up saying "your rules have been updated"every 5 to 10 minutes,i have uninstall and reinstalled but still getting the same popups.Also my sons laptop is doing the same.

I assume  you have the latest Norton Safety Minder 2.1.0.37 on both PCs.  Are you still experiencing the issue?  Does if help if you reboot the PCs?

Yes both pcs have the latest version,and we are still getting the popup every 5 to 10 mins.Rebooting the pcs makes no difference.I have also uninstalled norton internet security using the norton removal tool which should delete all norton files including norton safety minder.When was the latest version of safety minder released?i will ask my son when it first happened and see if it coincides with the update.

Thanks for the update.  What  are the Operating Systems for both PCs?

Both are windows 7 64 bit.I also have a desktop pc which is runing windows vista 32 bit which does not have the problem.

Our QA team has tested it on Windows 7 64 bit and was not able to reproduce the issue.  We would like to setup a remote access session with you to get some logs from your system.  If you're interested in it, please send me a private message, so we can work on the details.
