i am now getting this message when viewing his activity

I'm having the same problem. I hope they can fix this before they start charging us for the service.
I know she's not disabling it either. I've changed my parent password just in case.
I think that when the pc shuts down, sometimes it closes down safety minder before everything else, and if part of xp doesn't close properly it sits there and reports that there's been a disabling.
The Safety Minder tool on xxxxx used by xxxxx, has been disabled. As you know, Safety Minder is required on every computer monitored by OnlineFamily.Norton.

Could you tell us what version of NSM you have on your children’s PCs? You can find it by right clicking on the NSM icon (a dog paw image) in the system tray and select About Norton Safety Minder.
