I have just checked my childs activity and the time seems to be 8 hours different.The last web activity was recoered as 2.30 pm the actual time here is 10.30 pm.I checked to see if the pc time was correct and it was,so i logged onto the other pc and same thing its saying8 hours behind.I live in the UK.I am also running the latest version .

Looks like it could be a glitch in new updated version .Time has now corrected itself and monitoring correct times on both pcs.Checked the log files and it says pc time change.

Just installed NSM today after uninstalling NIS add-on pack. Web filtering works but no recording of activity and time restriction function does not work. Tried to troubleshoot but unsuccessful.

Please make sure the Web supervisor is On at Settings -> Web and Time supervision is On at Settings -> Time.

The time restrictions are now working, and the web supervision has been on (I didn't do anything), but now when I log onto NSM on the computer when attempting to extend the time I receive a message that says the computer is not reecognized.

I don't understand how the computer could not be recognized if NSM is working.

I was able to fix the problem. It was a little frustrating trying to fix it when I couldn't get my system to let me on the computer.

I found one of your other posts and disconnected the network cable which then allowed me to unistall the program.

I then logged into my online account and down;oaded and reinstalled NSM and not it works fine (though it was the third time I had to reinstall).

I have to say that I am very happy that Norton went back to making the program free for users and that it now works fine with Norton Internet Security.
