I have recently moved to Identity Safe Beta on Windows 8.
I can't remember if I saw Safe Search Previously with the Beta but I can't find it now, although I do have Safe Web.
Can anyone help, please.
Cheers,
drshlomo.

Hi,
Norton Safe Search is supported only in few Locations listed below. Is your machine settings has any of the below
mentioned location?
1) United States.
2) United Kingdom.
3) Canada.
4) Germany.
5) Autralia.

viveksu Hi, ![]()
Thank you for your prompt response to my query.
I am not in the areas that you mention. However, I have used, and am using, Safe search on computers using Identity Safe, but not the Beta version.
Is this restriction applied only to the Beta?
Cheers,
drshlomo.

Hi,
No, its common to NIS/N360 Product also. Safe Search is not supported in Norton ToolBar on other locations.
Can you check whether you see a "Enable Norton Safe Search" option in the Norton ToolBar?

viveksu Hi, ![]()
Perhaps I'm talking about the wrong item. I see "Search" on the Norton 360 v6 toolbar. Is this what you mean?
Cheers,
drshlomo.

Let us know if the Norton Safe search is found under Tools > Manage Add-ons > Search Providers.

MPriya Hi, ![]()
Thank you for replying to me and welcome to the Boards.
No, only Bing is shown, and this is the default search provider.
Windows 8, Internet Explorer 10, Norton 360 v6.

Thank you drshlomo! :)
By the way, Is it possible to post a screenshot of the same?
And let me know the version of your web browser.

I just realised that you are using Internet explorer 10.
And I don't think Norton Toolbar is compatible with IE 10 yet since IE 10 is still in beta. ![]()
May be you should wait for the full release of IE 10 for the compatible version of Norton Toolbar to be released.

MPriya Hi, ![]()
Yes, I'm using Win 8 with IE10 so perhaps you're right; I should wait.
I would like to add that Norton appears to be working very well in this mode, apart from the loss of Norton search, so I shall continue to be hopeful that it will soon reappear.
Many thanks to you,
drshlomo.
