On main page of NIS, left click on Support and then select Subscrription Status from the dropdown.  It will commuicate with the
Symantec Server and respond with the number of days you have left.  Did it sync up with your main page?

Addtional information can be found here:

https://www-secure.symantec.com/norton-support/jsp/help-solutions.jsp?utm_source=symc&utm_medium=pro...

Please doublecheck your system date and time also.

Re: 0 day left

We have had this reported when the user had an earlier installation under a different KEY that has or is about to expire.

If it bothers you I suggest you contact the Norton OnLine Customer Support since they have access to the database and can sort things out.

To contact customer support Click on this link and work on from there.

Please let us know how you get on ....

Hello AaronHobson

By what means is Norton notifying you? Are you getting an email or is it the program itself? If it is by email, can you please check the heading from the email.? If it is by email, please post the header information in your next post. Thanks.

Success always occurs in private and failure in full view.

Re: 0 day left

This notification by email happened for the first time this month when my subscription was almost finished and a few days after I put in a new code.

I waited to 1 day left (as is recommended) on subscription of NAV 2012 and put in a product code from a purchased copy of Nav 2012.

Everything went fine and my NAV was reset to 366 days.

I was suprised when I got an email warning me of my impending need to renew and warning of shutdown of NAV. This has not happened in previous subscription renewals by (outside) code.

I assumed that Symantec was watching the end of my days on the previous renewal and does not cross reference with a new (not online) product code.

I would think we would not get these warning emails if subscription was renewed through Symantec system.

The warning emails only came for 2 or 3 days.
