I am aware that both of these versions support Vista and as of 2010 Windows 7 x64.
My question is, currently all the executables are 32 bit. Is there any intention to make the executables 64 bit to take advantage of the benefits of the 64 bit environment with its improved memory handling for processes?

The following is taken from a post of Garret_Polk, Principal Software Engineer (Norton AntiVirus, Norton Internet Security, Norton 360):
"- Providing full native 64-bit support
This will not be in NAV/NIS 2010. It probably won't happen in the near future. Having a pure 64-bit product would take a lot of effort and offer almost no improvement for our customers. It would also inflate the install package unless we split the product into a 32-bit and 64-bit versions, which would introduce more confusion."
