Hi,

If the mail is server based it is not covered by Norton. Your protection is for your system only. To get the spam filter to work you will need to use a mail client [Thunderbird is a free one, there are others]. This will draw the messages through your firewall and filters. When all is working right the spam will be in its place and the messages you really want to read should be in your in box. Just remember that this isn't a perfect world so be sure to screen both places before deleting the messages in either.

If it's not supported be sure to suggest it :-)

Hi tomdy2k,

Norton AntiSpam works independently of the email client.  As long as you are using Port 110 for incoming messages Norton AntiSpam can scan them and will append a [Norton AntiSpam] tag to any suspected spam.  Because Incredimail is not supported for client integration, you will have to create your own message rule in the client to move all messages marked as [Norton AntiSpam] to the Junk Folder or to a Norton AntiSpam folder that you create yourself.
