Hello. I want to ask a question about using a new product activation code. I have already norton internet security and norton 360 in my computers. They are remaining to finish 111 days. I want to buy a new norton internet security and norton 360 from online shopping with discount. If i use a new (different from old one) product activation code, old subscription will be deleted or a new subcsription will be added to old one? Thanks.

Hi
its recommended in the forum to add the new product key
only when their is just 2-3 days left in the old subscription!

Hello pnater15
You can not use NIS and N360 on the same computer. Please clarify why you are using both products? Each of those products can be used on up to 3 computers. Thanks.
A new activation key will wipe out the current sub. More important is to find out if you are using both on the same computer.
Success always occurs in private and failure in full view.

panter,
You are correct about a new KEY wiping out unexpired time but that need not stop you from buying now or whenever you see a good price from a reputable source (be wary of Internet purchases unless from known, reputable places since we get reports here of invalid or used KEYs being bought on eBAY and sometimes this does not show up until later so it may be too late to get your money back .... if you ever could ...
So you can buy now if you like the price and not use it until you need it, like a couple of days before your present subscription expires, since the KEYs do not start to expire until you start to use them -- but note that if you have a 3 PC version all three activations start to expire when you use the first one ... you cannot daisy chain them.
Note also what others say about having two different security products on the same PC.
