I have NIS 2008. Whenever I visit Ancestry.co.uk I can no longer use Identity Safe afterwards, nor can I exit my browser without using Task Manager. If I disable Norton Confidential in add-ons I can exit correctly but can no longer use Identity Safe. Just visiting Ancestry homepage is sufficient to lose IS and for me to resort to Task Manager to exit my browser. So far I only have these problems when visiting Ancestry websites and have not encountered these problem with other sites I visit.
Any help would be gratefully received. ![]()

Hi Rog,
We were able to reproduce this problem with NIS 2008. We have fixed this problem in NIS 2008.5. In order to get that release of NIS, please visit www.symantec.com/newnis and upgrade to NIS 2008.5. Once you have upgraded, please run LiveUpdate.
Please let us know if that fixes your problem.
