This is pathetic! Once again, the malware is placed safely on my desktop. I'm seriously thinking of not renewing my subscription once it expires!

Hi,
please keep in mind that the virus writers are unfortunately always one step before the AV developers.
On the virustotal link you wrote you can see that only a few product can detect this threat, and mostly all the big ones miss them at the moment.
Plus I see in your signature you run NIS2011 and Hitman Pro together. Does Hitman Pro has an on demand scanner like Norton as well? If yes, it is possible that the two all-the-time-running scan service can cause these kind of troubles, as both wants to do something, but they have compatibility issues when both is running at the same time.

I ain't running Hitman Pro in real-time mode. It's just on-demand.
And why does Symantec always lag behind Microsoft nowadays?

Even, after more than 24 hours or so, the virus is still not being detected. What a shame for a company who claims to be the best! ![]()

Hitman Pro does not have any real-time protection, at the moment.
Norton is now detecting the file as Trojan.ADH.
