Have 3 PCs all same software.
System: XP Home - Service Pack 3 - with all updates.
Email Client: Outlook Express.
Had same NIS 2012 problem on all 3 PCs until 4 days ago.
I had Tried every fixit on the forum & elsewhere at least once. 4 days ago decided to give the Client Integration fix another go... first did a complete cleanup, cache etc, defragged, DiskCheck - turned PC Off - turned power off at wall - did the usual holding in the power switch for 10-15 seconds.
Turned wall power on - booted up - went to Settings - Client Integration - unclicked every box and shut down PC again.
Booted up.Opened NIS - Clicked every boxin in Client Integration. Restarted PC. Still have Antispam Toolbar on all 3 PCs.
NIS 2012 still doing everything right.

After nearly 5 days of having the Anti Spam Toolbar back it vanished today. Just before I received this email supposedly from Symantic.
"Thanks for letting us know about the issue you're seeing with Norton AntiSpam and the "disappearing toolbar":
Our team needs to gather information on this issue, and we were wondering if you could help. Specifically, we'd like to gather logs on this issue and some other information. For the logs, please following the directions in the "Creating and Gathering logs" section:

I am in the same situation. I had a vista OS and my old machine died. So the new version had NIS 2012, but I had a year subscription to 360 and decided to uninstall the NIS 2012 offer on the new machine and go with what I had paid for. I didn't ask if they would transfer the subscription, and I a relatively sure they couldn't. Anyway, I had the tool bar fine and the next morning it was gone.
So I have been trying everything and I am using Windows 7 with Outlook 2010 . So this isn't just my issue but one that many has

As I previously stated,
Have 3 PCs all same software.
System: XP Home - Service Pack 3 - with all updates.
Email Client: Outlook Express.
However, I failed to note that one PC has only lost the toolbar once.
It has, believe it or not, Office 97 installed. The other PC losing the toolbar have Office 2007 installed.
Could it be that MS Office 2007 has a compatibilty problem with NIS? Or vice versa?
