Auto Protect experienced an Unexpected error 3035,12 0x000003EE...
I really need help...BADLY...everytime when i boot the computer on...this flashes up on the screen after 10mins or so....
Even i used the tool that norton support suggest...it still pops out....and i also think...maybe...is there some way that on this single error...does the norton BLOCKS all of my ports on Bittorrent,Free download manager, and all of the torrent clients even I redownloaded/reinstalled them... I discovered it because...the firewall, intrusion or spyware protection also is always turned on...you can't turned them off...
I am a Norton fan...I have faith in this anti-virus so please help me....
and by the way im using Norton internet security 2007...I think..

Why not upgrade to the latest version? Norton 2008
That will probably do the trick

hi ianzro - Stu's recommendation is probably the better way to go (2008 is free with a valid 2007 subscription and can be obtained from this location) - but if you are interested in checking if the problem can be solved without the over-install, try this article.
if that doesn't help, can you recall if your used Windows Restore or hit a blue screen recently?

Unfortunately,I live in the philippines...so it is really hard to get a ORIGINAL copy of this 2008...I also wanted to buy one of this new things like the new Norton 2008 but I really cannot buy a cd of this thing...
by the way,My OS is winxp service pack 2...no,I didn't suffer from those blue screen things....
I already do the steps...BUT i don't use the Norton removal thingy...because this might get worst...I am a 14 year old boy...I use this laptop for good...and i don't wanna put any Malicious software in this laptop...
by the way, I also know how to speak geek....so even you throw me hard lines i still know what you are saying ![]()

You still are able to reach the links Melodic posted aren't you?
Using the NRT tool is getting things done for you. It won't get things worse

You should be able to download the 2008 version from the Norton Internet Security 2008 Installation page without a CD.
