Hi
My system Configuration is Core 2 Duo 2.80Ghz
Vista SP2 2GB Ram
I have been receiving a BSOD error like 3 times not consecutively or on the same day.
but while running a scan using my AV and Malware Bytes
My system is clean atleast that`s what the 2 programs say.
Am not sure but I think I was running Google chrome while I was scanning with the 2 programs 8.0.552.224
I installed it from a DVD the version installed was Beta(8.x.xx.xx) I dont know if the beta version of program was causing the problems or not some rootkit so
To be on safer side I ran a scan with gmer and Norton Power eraser.NPE has detected a few which I think are MS office 2007 setup files and other Microsoft tools.
Can Somebody give some info on it
Here are the screen shots

Running two antivirus engines at the same time, particularly with a beta of anything can cause problems. See if they run without BSOD using them one at a time.

Sorry, I took this to mean that you were scanning with both security programs at the same time. They both scan for malicious content and the scans will interfere with each other.
How was NIS2009 removed before going to your present antivirus? If the removal tool was not used, there may be some problems with leftover bits interfering with Max. Running the tool will also remove the utilities at the same time, so if that has to be done, you will need to have your subscription handy for a reinstall of utilities.

Thanks again
I did not use the removal tool for NIS 2009
guess I`m Gonna use the tool now and see if the problem persists
Have also installed a fresh copy of chrome

Here is a link to the removal tool, if you don't have it as yet. You might have to reinstall Max if the Norton leftovers caused a corrupted installation.
