BUG ON NORTON INTERNET SECURITY 2012 UPDATE VERSION 19.7.0.9 CAUSE ANTI SPAM NOT FUNCTION

I think there is a bug on NIS 2012 version 19.7.0.9 cause the Anti Spam not function in Microsoft Outlook 2010, even the toolbar has appeared but the Anti Spam cannot recognized the mail as spam after this email has clasified as spam by user and in the Email Header didn't shown text "X-BRIGHT MAIL as usual when scanning the incoming mail.

Please check and investigate it....

Hi,

I'm running both NIS2012 , same version and Office 2010 and have not experienced the problem. If you can provide us with some additional information we may be able to identify the exact problem and a way to resolve it.

Thanks

Hi, Handjojo.  If English is not your native language - you may be running into a problem that only shows up on versions of Microsoft Office 2010 in your local language.  Check to see if Microsoft have released patches for Office that are specific to your particular language.  This has happened before for Chinese, German and Malay versions of Microsoft Office.

If your Language version of NIS does not match the Language version of your copy of Windows or your Language version of your copy of Microsoft Office does not match either NIS or Windows - again you may have a compatibility mismatch which prevents the proper linkage between Norton AntiSpam and your copy of Microsoft Office.

Google for language issues with Office 2010.  You may find something.  It is also possible that a recent Windows update has messed things up and both the Office Product Group and the Symantec NIS Product Group may need to work together to fix the problem.

Finally, language issues often show up shortly after the release of a new Engine for NIS - which is one of the reasons Symantec delay the release of non-English versions of major updates while they sort out the issues that appear when different language DLLs are used in different parts of the world.

Hope this helps.

Hello Twixt...,

This anti-spam problem not from incompatible language, I think the problem came from the inside of updater 19.7.0.9, because some users here have some problems as me,

Lets Norton Technical person involve about this.
