Hi All, When attempting to download an excel spreadsheet from my bank it appears norten internet security is not allowing?
I went to the bank and it worked on there computer just fine but from home neither computer is succesfull. Home I have a laptop on Vista and a Desktop running XP both with Norton Internet security. The bank SW says it is gathering the data to create the file but then I get a file not found error message.
Is this something Norton is blocking?
Thanks,Greg

Hi gdonmon,
If this is Bank of America it may be a problem on their end. They did some sort of software upgrade over the weekend and have had outages and problems with online banking the last couple of days. Even if you are not using B of A your issue sounds more like a problem with the site than something that Norton would be doing.

I had a similar problem a while ago (not BofA).
The medical insurance site I went to to download a blank form uses https. I believe/expect that BofA does also.
I called customer service and they said I had to do the following (IE8):
Tools -> Internet Options
Advanced tab
unclick "Do not save encrypted pages to disk"

BoA is back on line since about 10:00 Eastern on March 1 ..... without any apology, although they did have an announcement yesterday when you could not log in .......
