Hi there,
I am facing this problem with norton internet security 2010 17.7.012. When i turn on my laptop or wake my laptop from sleep i get this pop up below.
When i click apply all nothing happens. When i click finish it asks me whether i want to leave the threats unresolved. My laptop is running on windows 7 ultimate with the latest updates. how do i get rid of this pop up?

Can you please run a manual full system scan with your Norton product?
Let us know the results.

Hi PapauZ,
Thank you for your reply. I did as you asked and below is the screenshot of the result.
All the 65 threats are just cookies. Again nothing happens when i click apply all and when i close it i leave the threats unresolved.

Hi prash
In Settings under Comuter Scans, try changing the setting of Tracking Cookies Scan to Remove and then run your scan again.

This is not a normal behavior.... It should delete these without any sound.
Previously you said you use Windows 7, is it a 32- or 64-bit installation?
And do you have any other active security product insatelled on your machine?

I am using 32 bit and not running any other antivirus or spyware.
i did as mdturner suggested and it automactically removed the cookies. i cant confirm if it removed the pop ups cause i havent restarted the laptop yet (on my desktop now which is running on win 7 32 bit and also the same copy of norton without any problems thus far).
