Bloodhound.Exploit.193 removal question

I am using Norton Antivirus 2006 on a PC with XP.  Norton is finding Bloodhound.Exploit.193, but is not able to remove.  I think that I have followed the web site instructions correctly, turned off System restore and went to Safe Mode, but still can't remove.  Haven't found anything in other posts.  Can someone point me in the right direction?

Check this out: http://www.pchelpforum.com/fixed-hijackthis-logs/83770-heuristic-virus-bloodhound-exploit-193-a.html

Please be careful with ComboFix if you chose to run it. It has trashed PCs in the past.

I would try the free version if Anti-MalwareBytes first and see if that gets rid of it.

Hi needhelp230,

Bloodhound.Exploit.193 is a heuristic detection, so there is always a possibility of a false positive, especially since the Norton program you are using is quite old and does not have the latest in detection technology.  I suggest checking the files on VirusTotal and also submitting them to Symantec for checking before proceeding with any advanced removal attempts.
