Blue Screen from SRTSP.SYS

I run Vista Home Premium and have been getting blue screen errors caused by SRTSP.SYS, which seems to be a Norton file.  I want to remove and reinstall the associated product, but I don't know which one it is.  I have Norton Utilities 15 and Ghost 12.0.  I also have Internet Security, SystemWorks and an expired version of Security Scan, but I can't tell what versions I have of these products because they won't start up in safe mode.

This is a problem I urgently need to fix.  I'd appreciate any suggestions.

Re: Blue Screen from SRTSP.SYS

How long have you been getting these errors?

A quick Google search came up with  this file being part of Symantec's anti virus.

Try using the Norton Removal and Reinstall Tool. Do not use Norton Removal Tool as that could wipe out all your Symantec products.

Download the Norton Removal and Reinstall Tool from here   www.norton.com/nrnr
If you use Identity Safe, backup/export your data. Use the CSV format for compatibility.
Run the Norton Removal and Reinstall Tool.
Reboot.
Run LiveUpdate manually a few times, rebooting as necessary, until no updates are available.
Try to log into your Identity Safe. If you can, you are done. If not, Import your Identity Safe data.

Things happen. Export/Backup your Identity Safe data.
