I’ve been reading post on this forum about this virus. It’s a lot of information. But I also do understand that every answer doesn’t work for everybody because of the different computers and what have you. Like most you I did down load the NPE, which didn’t work for me. I was told by the online assistant to do that. From reading a lot the post here it wasn’t a very smart move.  So this is where I’m at right now, can’t search anything on the Internet due to being redirected to sites that are ads, at least most of them.

Can some one please be of some assistance to me? Thanks

We do have an individual here who works malware and form the looks of all the threads he is very busy working numerous problems.  There are other forums that do this type of service for free.  I am not sure if any of the following are overloaded or not - but may be worth a check.

If you decide to try another forum, here are some places where a real malware expert can work with you one-on-one in real time to dig these things out. Some of our best folks here have checked them out to make sure that they are capable, and competent to deal with rootkits and other nasties. Most of them handle tricky Windows problems as well.
