Hi There

I tested my Norton Account and it works from my browser.  I can not get NIS 2012 to login into to my Norton Account, in order to use my Identity Safe that has been previously setup in that account.  I have tested it with NIS 2012 on another computer and it works!  But will not work on my newest installed PC?  The product is up-to-date and the Identity safe was working on it an hour or so ago.  What do I do?

We have tried to log into Norton account through identity safe and able to login successfully.  There may be a network glitch when your product  contacting with Symantec server.

Can you try accessing the identity safe through webportal using this link  https://identitysafe.norton.com/

What is the error message you are getting while logging into Norton account?

I'm having the exact same problem today.  I have tried chaning my password but that hasn't helped.  When I try to login to the Identity Safe it asks me to sign into Notorn but it keeps telling me that my credintials have changed but I know they have not.  When I try login to the site you stated it also tells me credintials are faliling at the password.

It won't let me login to Norton Account through Identity Safe.  I can't even get to the Identity Safe login, this is different.

Hi There

I had the same problem with it not recognising my account and found that the only way to solve it was to re-install NIS2012.  It was saying the same thing about being unable to recognise my login for my norton account.

I am having this problem as well. I can login through the browser, but that does not log me into NIS 2012 to allow me to access to my account on the desktop. I just get an error message about my credentials. ?? HELP!

I can also confirm this.  I can login to my local norton identity safe profile but not my online identity safe through NIS or the norton browser toolbar.  I can however login to my online profile through the identity safe portal site.
