Hello villasbill
Here is the link for NIS Netbook edition when you are ready for that step.
http://www.norton.com/nisne11
Please run live update until no more updates and then reboot.
Just an idea, but have you tried going back to Acer website and maybe getting those drivers from their website ?
Success always occurs in private and failure in full view.

I uninstalled the 2 network adapters in Device Manager, rebooted and they reinstalled and are now working. I have a 3 user license for NIS regular edition so I'm just going to put that on there instead of the Netbook edition. This license just became effective 2 days ago so I will be good for a year. My old netbook version expires in 20 days anyway. I do have a new subscription key for Netbook edition but it is a 1 user so I will be putting it on my other laptop that also has the soon to expire Netbook edition.
Thanks everyone for the help here, between here and the Comcast forums I am back up and running again!!

I installed NIS on my netbook with no problems, don't really see much difference between that and the Netbook edition. As far as I can see they are the same thing if you enable the Power Saver mode and the other battery related option in the regular editon.
One word about the 2011 edition of both versions, the font is a lot harder to read, almost looks cartoonish like Windows XP did if you didn't enable the Classic view.
