I am having trouble connecting to my home network. I can see my brother’s computer fine on the network, but he cannot see mine. Also when I want to watch movies on me ps3 or Xbox 360 through the network it only sees my brothers computer (he doesn’t use any anti-virus software) I use to be able to use my computer through the network before (when I used Norton Internet security 2008,) but I had to turn off the firewall every time if I needed it to work. With 2009 it doesn’t do that. How can I configure Norton to work with my network?
Thanks

HI
You can set up a firewall rule to allow you Brothers PC, Via "Traffic Rules" "Add" ................... "Connections to and from other computers", "An computer on the local subnet" or add the individual I.P. address of the computer and see if that works.

If you are using Norton Internet Security 2009, try the steps below to create traffic rules.
1. Start Norton Internet Security.
2. In the Internet pane, click Settings.
3. Under Smart Firewall, click Configure next to Advanced Settings.
4. Under Advanced Settings, click Configure next to General Rules.
5. Click Add.
6. In the Add Rule wizard, select Allow, and then click Next.
7. Select Connections to and from other computers, and then click Next.
8. Select Only the computers and sites listed below, and then click Add.
9. Select Individually, enter the Ip address of the other computer or router and then click OK.
10. Click Next.
11. Select All types of communications, and then click Next.
12. If you want the logs for this rule to be saved, check Create an event log entry, and then click Next.
13. In the "What do you want to call this rule?" box, type a name for the rule, and then click Next.
14. Click Finish.
15. Click Move Up to move the rule to top, and make it a higher priority.
16. Click OK, and again click OK.
17. Click OK.
