the check box un ticks with the Hotfix installed. It un ticks because Norton Anti Phishing is working. Just like it did before FF3.5. Run FF3.5.2 without the Tool Bar Hotfix and Block Web Forgeries stays ticked. IPS with or without the Hotfix is still protecting your System. I'm running FF3.5.2 without the Tool Bar waiting for the in-line release. My System is still protected by IPS. I have the History Logs to prove that. I have received numerous popup notices ~ IPS has Blocked an Attack. With FF3.0.X IPS was fully protecting my System and with FF3.5.X IPS is fully protecting my System. Hopefully the inline release will come on Friday and you'll feel better.
Feel better soon

However, for some users the 16.7 patch is giving problems and not installing! See: http://community.norton.com/norton/board/message?b

The only difference I can see is the ability to open a new tab with the mouse instead of CTRL+T.
