hello i have been following this discussion with error 3043,1.  I have norton 2011.   i've downloaded the norton removal tool and when i run it, it says "unable to uninstall the products Norton utilities 14.  Please uninstall the products Norton Utilities 14 manually.  I do not have a CD to reinstall, i've renewed from website.  if i manually remove Norton, i assume i just re-install the norton download manager that i downloaded originally to my PC?  I don't think i can download from website again as i have already used up my 3 licenses that i was entitled to.  thanks any any info you can provide.

ok, nevermind.  i braved it out and deleted norton and reinstalled with the download manager.  so far so good.  thx
