Error No 800ccc0e

I have just turned on my Outlook Express and get the message "The connection to the server has failed. Account: pop.tiscali.co.uk Protocol: POP3. Port:110. Secure(SSL):No. Socket error:10061    Error No: 0x800ccc0e"

What can I do about this?

Re: Error No 800ccc0e

Which Norton program are you using(name and version) and also your Operating system/service pack?

Are you getting the message as soon as you start Outlook Express?

Try the instructions from the following Microsoft Articles:

Re: Error No 800ccc0e

I am using Norton Internet Security (expired 21 July 2009).

Operating System Windows XP (Home). Service pack 2, I think.

Yes, I get the message as soon as I start Outlook Express.

My ISP is tiscali.co.uk

Re: Error No 800ccc0e

Thank you very much for your suggestions.

Outlook Express is now working again, so I think the problem must have been at tiscali.co.uk

Sorry to have bothered you. Thanks again.
