Hi Hugh and all,
No problem. I hope this can help in some way. The only thing I didn't notice was if this operation I made today, i.e., going throught "Renewal (...) Download, etc" as I described it earlier, could have been made before the expiring day as it would save some worry. I can only stay with perhaps yes, perhaps not, or leave it to figure out next year.
Regards,
V.

I hate to suggest anything with this being a Best Buy renewal if I understand correctly.
But in principle you can RENEW at any time and the new time is added to the old.
If you BUY A NEW KEY (by buying a new copy) then it replaces any unexpired time ..... But the good news is that the OnLine CHAT Support team have a great reputation for helping people by adding this lost time back in if you contact them about it.
However I still have the slight reservation that if this involves Best Buy as the route to renew then .... I don't know.

Quite an interesting thread with this level of intergation between Best Buy and Symantec.
Didn't know about it. Then again I don't live in the US.

Nor is Beast Buy .....
Other Best Buy sites:
Best Buy UK -Best Buy US - Best Buy Canada -- Best Buy Mexico <s>
And I've seen other linked versions like an Office Depot N 360 some years ago that had a link to them for computer serviing.
