I have an external hard drive that became infected.  After removing five viruses all the drive contents are now invisible.  How can I make the contents visible again?  Thanks in advance.

Can you provide a bit more information? Operating system, which Norton Product you are running and the version, what methods you used to do the virus removal and any other details which will help us evaluate and understand your circumstances so we can offer valid assistance?

OK, that's part of the answer. Have you rebooted since the cleanup? What product did you use to do the virus removal? Can you see the drive using windows-my computer? What type of files are on the drive?

I found a program called unhide.exe on mybleepingcomputer.com which fixed the problem.  Thank goodness for this person who wrote this program.
