I got all excited when I saw the product updates in LiveUpdate. Sadly it does not fix Norton Toolbar for Firefox 10.0
Firefox 10.0 has unofficially been seeded to Mozilla's FTP Servers.

you have too wait for the real firefox too come out on the main firefox web site when that is out you need too un stall the one you got from Mozilla's FTP Servers. and then re in stall firefox from the main site

Hi SGFC,
Firefox RTM build is available at firefox website, we are able to download and install it, but officially they didn't release yet
So please wait for firefox10 release update from mozilla and install it, before installing FF10 make sure you have FF10 support patch for Norton toolbar.
Please watch forum for firefox10 support for Norton Toolbar
For more information http://releases.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla.org/firefo
Hope this helps,
Thanks,
Senthil

I just updated to the Firefox 10.0 and can confirm that the latest version of Norton Toolbar is not compatible yet. (Norton Vulnerability Protection works though).

LOL, actually I do not need to do any of that.
It is the actual release of Firefox 10.0 there will be absolutely NO difference between the version I downloaded and the one that will be on the main site later today.

That's your problem if you ignore advice not to adopt a new product the moment it is released!
Norton will release any update needed when they have tested what FF actually sends out -- several times bitten more times shy.
And isn't it about time that FF got its act together and respected the addons that its users want to install?
