[ Edited ]

Mozilla will be releasing FIrefox 14.01 today the question is will nis2012, norton 360, norton anti virus be ready? At this time the bultin updater does not have it at this time but it is available at other download sites ( majorgeeks, filehippo etc.) Note at this time Mozilla.com has NOT been updated to 14.01 as of 9:00 a.m. edt

Just ran nis2012 liveupdate that required a restart and installed a product update that did not change the version number of nis. Also ran the builtin updater for firefox and downloaded the update to firefox14.0.1 and so far all is working as it should.

I downloaded FF 14.0.1 and then I ran NIS updater. Two updates were downloaded and a request followed to restart my system. After this, I did not have Norton Toolbar, so I checked my NIS version and it is 19.7.1.5.  Checked Firefox Add-ons and I found:

Norton Vulnerability Protection:   11.0.0.243-2

Norton Toolbar:   2012.7.3.1  with a warning msg: Norton Toolbar is incompatible with Firefox 14.0.1

I checked Symantec's website and searched for Norton Toolbar 2012.7.4.1 and the results were 0...

I ran Norton updater one more time and an update came thru, but no change in Firefox Add-ons yet.

What am I missing???

Edited to add this:

GOT IT!!!  --  I found out that I had not restarted after my second run of updater.  After I did it, the Add-on came out fine and all seems to be sailing now...

Thanks Symantec for another great job, being ready as soon as the new FF update comes out! Cheers!
