Read that FF 19 is to be release today. Will it be safe to update to it from a NIS standpoint?

The big question is will it be supported in NIS 2012.

Well. I just got updated to Firefox 19 and everythng Norton seems to be working ok - toolbar and Safe Search.

Everything seems to be working for me at least. Even though there are some complaining about NT doing a disappearing act.

Yup > The Norton Toolbar is now compatible with Firefox 19. The patch is also available for the Norton 2012 products. Info here

Usually the issue is upgrading Firefox before getting the Norton updates in place.
I'm not sure what the rush is to get the latest FF. I always wait a few days before upgrading, just in case.
