[ Edited ]

What should I install first ??  Firefox 7 or the patch ? Or does it make any difference?

Re: RE: Firefox 7 Compatability Patch

In theory it shouldn't make much difference but threads seems to have suggest better success by installing the patch first and then updating.

Re: RE: Firefox 7 Compatability Patch

I upgraded to Firefox 7 first and then applied the patch, which has worked OK. Thanks to the team for having the patch ready for the Fx 7.0 release. The only trouble is that I now have nothing to grumble about. :smileyhappy:

Re: RE: Firefox 7 Compatability Patch

I have not done the patch yet and my present coFFPlgn.dll is Ver 2012.1.1.10 with a Sept 20 date and Tonys patch message shows a different version. What should the new patch version show?

I still have coffplgn.dll  2012.1.1.10   vs.  2012.2.0.2

Ran LU ~ No more updates.  I had LU requiring restart earlier, but still at 2012.1.1.10

Have not updated to FF 7.0 yet

Any thoughts?

I applied the patch, but the version number for coFFPlgn.dll is not what Tony said it should be.  Instead it's 2012.2.0.2.

Thanks. I guess Tony has been working to hard. Time for a vacation.

Run Live Update a few times and it should prompt for a restart and that should do the trick.

You should see something like this in History.
