Hi, Alf60. When I tried that , Firefox said that the toolbar would be incompatible, and would be updated when made compatible, so ....... ? I'll wait, and see what happens. Atm, I'm still running Firefox 8. Funnily enough, it updated to Firefox 9.0, ok, with full compatibility, but not to 9.0.1.............

F4E I must be lucky that I did not have a problem with the update. ALF60

I updated two computers tonight to Firefox 9.0.1 with no adverse effects to the Norton Toolbar on either.

Hi F4E,
Please run live update repeatedly until it shows, "your norton product has latest updates" and restart the system whenever it requires a reboot,
Norton toolbar version should be 2012.2.2.5 (updated version) to have enable button in addons,
After performing complete live update, In FF Go to tools->addons-> extension->enable Norton toolbar addon and restart FF
Could you provide the toolbar version in FF(You can find in tools->addons-> extension)?
FF9 patch applies for firefox 9.0.1 also
Hope this helps.
Thanks,
Senthil

Senthilkumar, the Toolbar version showing in Firefox, is 2012.2.1.6 ? Is that right ?

No, Norton toolbar version should be 2012.2.2.5, You need to run live update to get this version.
Thanks,
Senthi.

One of the bug fixes in FF 9 was causing crashes so they backed it out.
This quick release schedual is stating to cause problems. FF 8 also had an update to 8.0.1 because of crashes and now FF 9.
